That was _very_ useful! The error code is, of course, the same value
as the hex output. That site’s error table[*] is even more
informative.

I got the same issues. The sound also fires when a tab is closed mid-
load, which makes sense, but is not very useful. The Undo Close Tab
issues is more annoying, though.

You can use something like
*noise-WebProgress-stop&Compon ents.utils.reportError(data)*
to find the value (should be 2152398850), and with Mozilla Error
Lookup<[link]>we know
the 0x value is 0x804B0002.

But there's another problem, in my test, the sound also fires when "undo

How do I detect when the Stop button (or Esc key) is used to stop a
page from loading? I would guess that the event looks something like
this:
noise-WebProgress-stop&data==0 x<some value>
but I have no idea how to figure out the proper value. Please note
that I would like the event to fire only when a load is interrupted,

After some test, I found that using "URI" instead of "originalURI" would be
better:
noise-WebProgress-stop&data==0 &subject.URI.spec!='about:conf ig'&&subject.URI.spec==gBrowse r.currentURI.spec

I’m trying to detect when the focused tab completes loading, but I
can’t get it detected just right. I’ve tried both noise-WebProgress-
stop and DOMContentLoaded. The differences from my desired behaviour
are such:

1. I want the sound to play only when the current tab completes
loading, not background tabs. (Otherwise, it’s just confusing.)

Now version 1.0 supports some parametrized events.
I've tested a "Specific URL Loaded" and it works, the string is
"DOMContentLoaded&event.target .baseURI=='[link]"

In my opinion, to include default sounds is the same as to design a
default sound theme.
I don't have plan to do it unless I got an (maybe personally)
acceptable theme.

The other suggestions which I guess would improve the popularity of
this addon by a lot is to include default sound..
So that the addon works instantly when the user uses it..

For me, I have the "start Navigation" to something like the IE6/7 link
clicking sound..
And of course the Popup Block sound..

Relative paths, with a Default Directory, is a good idea.
And we can make the Default Directory configurable, this might also
helpful.

My another question is how to introduce this feature to users.
Maybe I would just add relative path supporting, and put a base path
preference in about:config.

Hi!
Maybe it would be good to provide a default Location or relative path
from which the Sounds file can be placed and Located?
As good as it would be to provide an Absolute Path, sometimes when you
move your profiles directory, the you have to reconfigure your Noise
Addon..
So maybe you can put the Default Directory as either the profiles

Hi, You can try "DOMContentLoaded" with event type: "Browser Event".
And there is an Events Reference at:

These event names were usually hard-coded in Firefox,
Noise users don't have a syntax to really add new functions.
